Lisenced Clinical Addiction Counselor
 and Psychotherapist

Education and training

Graduated in 1992 With a Master of Arts degree from the University of Arizona.  A registered  art therapist and a certified clinical addiction counselor with 25 years of experience in the fields of social and mental health care, including art therapy, substance abuse treatment, and prevention. 

Clinical work at the department
Providing individual psychotherapy sessions with adults and adolescents. A member of the Agnes Varis Healing Program for Substance Use Disorders, providing individual substance abuse treatment, and facilitating addiction recovery through  psycho-educational and process groups. 
Providing family therapy for substance abuse. Involved in addiction research.
